Sean turned 21 months on March 29th. He is truly a Toddler now. It feels like he went from baby to Toddler overnight. People aren't kidding when they say "they grow fast".
We weighed Sean this evening. According to our scale, he weighs 24.5 lbs., but certainly feels heavier.
Sean had a super Easter weekend! On Saturday morning, Mommy took Sean to his favorite park. It was fairly early in the morning and we had the entire park to ourselves. As Sean is sliding down the slide, several families are passing us heading to the other side of Central Park, here in Santa Clara. The children all had their Easter baskets.
Sean and Mommy decided to follow them to check out what was going on. We arrived at 2 minutes to 10AM and were told that an Easter Egg Hunt was going to begin in 2 minutes! We decided quickly to participate. We purchased our pink Easter basket (no blue baskets were left) and hurried over to the 0 to 2 age group. We arrived to our section at 10 AM sharp. Too late for any Easter eggs. Mommy was determined to get Sean at least one Easter egg. Mommy says aloud (in hopes that some kind child or parent would hear), "Sean maybe one of the children will give you one of their eggs." It worked! A little girl who had about 4 eggs in her basket, kindly gave Sean 1 of her eggs. Success! Sean and Mommy Thanked the little girl and her Mommy. Sean was so happy with his one Easter egg. It was very special because it was Sean's first!
Mommy was trying to get Sean to pose for a photo. He was proudly standing with his one egg when the Mayor and his youngest daughter stop to say "Hi" to Sean. The Mayor thought Sean was so cute standing with his one egg that he took a photo of Sean.
Easter Sunday was wonderful. We started off our morning by going to church and celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Sunday afternoon, we had a Easter egg hunt for Sean. In the evening, we had dinner with family.
What a wonderful Easter weekend!

Running, Sharing and Sliding
Sean has gone from walking to running. He is getting faster and faster and more confident each day.
We went to the park this weekend and Sean slid down the slide all by himself. He loves sliding down all by himself. He also still enjoys going down the big slide with Mommy or Daddy.
Sean loves to share his food, especially his peas and Cherrios. We took Sean to the book store on Saturday. There is a Thomas the Train train set located in the Children's section with only 1 Thomas the Train, so only one child can play at a time. After a boy finished with his turn, Sean got a turn. Sean played for close to 10 minutes before a little girl patiently waited her turn. Mommy said to Sean, "Da para menina". Translation: Give to the girl. Sean looked a Mommy. He understood! He walked around the train set/ table and handed the girl the train. Mommy was so proud! And Thanked Sean for sharing.
