Sean is getting closer and closer to being ready to come home. We are only weeks away from his homecoming. I spoke with his primary RN today and she said that sometimes they can tell parents a few days in advance when their baby is coming home....sometimes it can be one or two days notice. She said "get ready"... That's what we are doing...getting ready for our Sean's homecoming. Daddy has been busy straightening and organizing the room for Sean.
Sean continues to tolerate his feedings. He's up to 3 bottles a day + being fed through the feeding tube. He now weighs 5 lbs. 8.8oz.
He continues on 21% room air. This morning he had a few DSATs and had a Brady/Apnea episode. But overall, he had a good day. The RNs say Sean will outgrow these episodes and they will not send him home until he is ready.
Sean is becoming more aware of familiar voices. He is wanting to interact.
He had another eye exam today. These take place every Tuesday. We will have the results back in a couple of days.
